# Bar Bending Schedule of Beam and BBS of Beam

## Calculation,

Long (ALTH) bar = Clear span of beam + Development length – bends

= 5000 + 2 x (50D) – 2 x ( 2 D )

= 5000 + ( 2 x 50 x 16 ) – ( 2 x 2 x 16 )

= 5000 + 1600 – 64

= 6600 – 64 = 6536 mm or 6.536m

Total no. of long (ALTH) bar        = 4 Nos.

Then, total length of (ALTH) bar = 4 x 6.536

= 26.144 m

## Calculation,

Extra Top bar = Length + Development length – bends

= 850 +  (50D) –  ( 2 D )

= 850 + ( 50 x 16 ) – ( 2 x 16 )

= 850 + 800 – 32

= 1650 – 32 = 1618 mm or 1.618 m

Total no. of Extra top bar                 = 4 Nos.

Then, total length of Extra top bar = 4 x 1.618

= 6.472 m

#### Cutting Length of Stirrup

##### Calculation,

A = 500 – 25 – 25 – 4 – 4 = 442 mm

B = 230 – 25 – 25 – 4 – 4 = 172 mm

Total Length = 2 x ( 442 + 172 ) = 1228 mm

### Calculation,

Cutting Length = Total Length + Hook – Bends

= 1228  + (10d + 10d) – ( 3 x 2d + 2 x 3d )

= 1228  + 20d – 12d

= 1228  + ( 20 x 8 ) – ( 12 x 8 )

= 1228 + 160 – 96

= 1388 – 96 = 1292 mm 0r 1.292 m

### No. Of Stirrup in Beam

S1 Length L.H.S side = Length/Spacing + 1

= 1050 /100 + 1 = 11 nos.

S1 Length R.H.S side = Same as S1 Length L.H.S

Side = 11 Nos.

S2 Length Middle Side = Length/Spacing – 1

= 2900/200 -1 = 13 Nos.

Total Length Of Stirrup in Beam

Total No .Of Stirrups in Beam = 11 + 13 + 11

= 35 Nos.

Total Length   = 35 x 1.292 = 45.22 m

Weight of Steel of Stirrup in Beam

D x D / 162 X L = 8 x 8 /162 x 45.22 = 17.86 kg

Weight of Steel of 16 mm bar =

16 x 16 /162 x ( 26.144 + 6.472 )

= 1.58 x 32.616

= 51.53 kg

Weight. Of Stirrups + Weight of Steel of 16 mm bar

= 17.86 + 51.53

= 69.39 kg
